The WISE Hall is a character wood frame building from the 1930s and was originally the church hall for what is now the Vancouver East Cultural Centre. The Hall is suited to a variety of activities. Situated on the second floor of the building, it’s a high ceiling multipurpose room with a stage, green room, washrooms and bar.
Primarily used for concerts and dances, the Hall is also suitable for rehearsals, receptions, film shoots, meetings, classes and seminars. Live music is permitted until 12:30 am on weekends and until 11:30 pm on weekdays. To find out more about renting the Hall, check out the Hall Rentals page.
The first floor of the building is the WISE Club members’ lounge. Here, members play darts, pool, watch Canucks games, or relax with a pint of beer. The Club sponsors a baseball team: “Beer and Loathing”, supports dart league play and offers members many other perks and events. Our Members page has more information about the Club.
